PineconeX does not have direct access to the personal trading accounts or brokerage statements of its users. Only our proprietary, rigorously tested and validated runtime acts on behalf of the user, executing solely the orders the user's own strategy generates.
Live trading jobs run on a secured, single-tenant server: PineconeX's on-premise runner on the shared platform, or your own isolated instance on a Dedicated VPS. Each job is self-contained and no trading records are retained by PineconeX. Broker credentials are encrypted at rest and kept only while your account is connected. They are removed when you disconnect, log out, or delete your account; the decrypted access used by a job is passed to the isolated container and is not retained beyond that job. We cannot guarantee 100% uptime; manual user action is required to resume live jobs following a system reset.
Market data used for backtesting is provided by sources including Massive, Saxo Bank, Alpaca, and Bitstamp, and is provided “as is”. Data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness are not guaranteed. Verify independently before use in live trading.
